The book is about a gye named murphey and he used to be the law in a town named cucville. He and his wife are trying to find a place to live. So they go to casper to pick up some supplies. While they are there Murphey is jumped riders and almost kills their leader. So he and his wife go to these to butes and find a valley to live. They bye forty horses, put up a corral and make a cabbin. Murphey needs to go to casper to get more supplies and on his way he sees a fire. He hurries home to find a horror and if i told you it would give away the rest.
